Over the last couple of years, the major Scrabble dictionaries have been updated.  Sorry for the delay in supporting them – there has been a lot happening in the world, and I dropped the ball by missing the announcements about the updates!

I’ve now added these options to Word Helper:

• USA “2020 Tournament” – the official dictionary used in tournaments in the USA – NASPA Word List (NWL2020) / Official Word List (OWL5)
• USA “2020 Merriam-Webster” – designed for home use and censored to remove offensive words. It is sometimes called the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary (OSPD7)
• USA “2020 Schools” – designed for school use and censored to remove offensive words – School Scrabble Word List (SSWL2020)
• International “2022 Tournament” – the official dictionary used outside the USA, as of 2022- Collins Scrabble Words (CSW/CSTCWL/SOWPODS 2022)
